These jobs are technical type positions. Applicants should be familiar with electronic equipment and network system communications (cellular, high speed copper telecommunications and fiber are currently utilized). Most of the work is outdoors. We work in all types of weather to maintain critical infrastructure owned by PennDOT and municipalities throughout Central PA. Work encompasses troubleshooting devices and communications for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Electrical Services, and Traffic Signal Systems. Physical labor is required from time to time. On the Job training will be provided for the successful candidate(s) to become familiar with the systems we work on.

This is a Union position. We will assist with your obtaining a Work Ticket through Line Local IBEW 126. As a Union employee, compensation and benefits are outstanding.

Previous PennDOT experience is a definite plus.
